A night of New Wave music for the Brunswick Pride Opening Party, featuring the Brighton-based band New Wave Breakers.
New Wave Breakers are playing the Brunswick Pub on Friday 31 July, taking the stage as the opening party for Brunswick Pride. It's a Brighton band, so they're playing on home turf for this one.
They've built their sets around the New Wave era, and they describe it as a shared love of the inventive, genre-blurring sound of that period. The songs they cover run from the hits to the deep cuts and the forgotten gems, so you'll hear the well-known tracks alongside the ones that didn't quite make the mainstream.
