Brighton's favourite musical bingo drag night with Ophelia Payne, featuring prizes, belting ballads, and a late-night beach party. Entry is free, but playing bingo costs £4.
If you are looking for a fun way to kick off a summer weekend, the popular Musical Bingo Drag Night at the Brighton Music Hall is running throughout the season. This event, described as Brighton’s favourite drag bingo night, takes place on the first Friday of the month. The next date on the calendar is Friday, July 3, 2026, featuring the main host, Ophelia Payne. Ophelia is a familiar face around the venue, also hosting the regular 'Drag Sundays' and the 'Sunday Drag Roast,' and she is known for her big hair, big personality, and powerful voice, promising 'Bingo with belting ballads!' along with plenty of surprises and prizes.

While entry to the event itself is completely free, if you want to participate in the bingo game for a chance to win 'the big kitty,' it costs £4 per person. Given that this night is known to be a sellout, booking your table ahead of time is essential to avoid disappointment, as seating is assigned upon arrival. You should plan to get there around 7:45 PM, as the main bingo game runs from 8:00 PM until 10:00 PM. Once the bingo wraps up, the party continues right there on the beach with their 'Sun Beats Down' beach party, which runs from 10:00 PM until late.
The Brighton Music Hall is located right on Brighton Beach (127 KINGS ROAD ARCHES, Brighton BN1 2FN), offering a great setting for a night out. A unique feature of the venue is the availability of free rental for their exclusive 'beach huts,' which provide panoramic views of the sea and the stage. If you are planning to attend and want to request specific seating or reserve one of these beach huts, you need to send an email to info@brightonmusichall.co.uk when you make your booking. This July 3rd date is part of a larger series of events running through the summer, including dates in May and June, leading up to a grand final event scheduled for August 28th, all featuring Ophelia Payne.
