Morrisons on St James's Street hosts a Pride weekend with tombola, lucky dip, rainbow raffle, face painting and a selfie station, raising money for Marie Curie.
Morrisons on St James's Street is running a Pride weekend on Saturday 1 August, with all the proceeds going to Marie Curie. It's a full day of fundraising and family-friendly bits, so it's as much about the charity as it is about the Pride celebrations. The store is positioning itself as a community partner for the weekend, and the whole thing is built around raising money for Marie Curie.
There's a fair bit to get stuck into throughout the day. The fundraising side is handled by a tombola, a lucky dip, and the store's rainbow raffle, and there are cupcakes on the go too. If you're in the mood for something a bit more relaxed, City Yoga UK will be doing acupressure massages by donation in the morning, so you can chip in what you can. In the afternoon, Possability People take over for face painting, and there's a selfie station to capture the day. It's a mix of things to do, from the raffle and the tombola to the massages and the face painting, so you can drop in for one thing or hang around for a few.
