Raucous Punkrockery event featuring six bands at Daltons, Brighton, aiming to 'trash your Valentines dreams'.
If you're looking for something that definitely isn't roses and chocolates this Valentine's weekend, the tenth edition of Moonpunx might be exactly what you need. This year, they are hosting the aptly named Moonpunx #10 Fku Valentine on Saturday, February 14, 2026. The whole idea is to offer a night of "Punkrockery and other reckless rhythms" specifically designed to "trash your Valentines dreams." It’s happening down at Daltons, a great spot right on the Lower Promenade. Getting there is straightforward; Daltons, also known as Daltons Bastion, is located right under the Brighton Zip Wire, just to the left of the Brighton Pier—you just need to aim for the beach. It’s good to know the venue is fully accessible, and if you're coming from the station, you can grab buses 7, 27, or 12, or enjoy the 23-minute downhill walk.

Once you're settled, you'll be treated to a solid lineup of six bands covering punkrockery and related sounds: Healthy Junkies, Noir Mates, Family of Strangers, Boneyard Breakout, High Rise Reptiles, and Cherry B! Entry is set at £11.00, which seems reasonable for a full night of music. Make sure you plan your arrival time, as the event runs for quite a while. Doors open relatively early at 17:00 (5:00 PM), giving everyone time to settle in before the music officially kicks off at 18:00 (6:00 PM). The punkrockery is scheduled to keep going until midnight, 00:00, rolling into the early hours of Sunday morning. It sounds like a proper, long session of loud music and good energy, perfect if you want to skip the usual February 14th fuss and just enjoy some raw rhythms by the sea.
