Afternoon of original music by Mollie Angela at The Folklore Rooms, with all door money going to the Gaza charity All Our Relations.
Mollie Angela plays an afternoon of original music at The Folklore Rooms on Saturday 21 November, starting at 14:00. It's a solo set, and the room itself is her only audience.
Every penny from the door goes to All Our Relations, a charity supporting families in Gaza. That's the whole point of the afternoon — the music is the way the money gets raised, and all of it goes straight through to the charity. It's a simple setup: one singer, her own songs, and a room full of people listening, with the proceeds going to a cause that's far from the room itself.
The Folklore Rooms is a small, traditional Brighton venue on North Street, and it's worth keeping in mind that it isn't fully accessible. If you have any access needs, the venue asks that you email them before booking so they can make sure you're looked after. It's a proper little spot, and given the afternoon slot, it'll be a different kind of gig than the usual evening run.
