Live gig by the Dublin band Madra Salach at Chalk in Brighton, presented by CHALK and for ages 14 and over.
Madra Salach play Chalk on Thursday 1 April, presented by the venue itself. They're a six-piece from Dublin's Northside, and the name translates to 'dirty dog'.
It's a full band on stage, and you can hear it in the line-up: Banks on vocals, Lawlor on bass, Adam Cullen on guitar, Jack Martin on mandolin, whistle and synth, Maxime Arnold on harmonium and Dara Duffy on drums. That's a fair bit of ground to cover, from the mandolin and whistle to the harmonium, so it's a good idea to get a sense of who's playing before you head down.
Most of them have been friends since their early teens, and that comes through in the way they work together. They're a Dublin band playing in Brighton, and the show is for ages 14 and over.
