Evening gathering with wine and oysters from She Shucks, with a signed limited edition print from the LULL exhibition.
Laura El-Tantawy is taking over Unit 6, Duke's Lane for a limited two-week run from 3 to 16 October, and on Thursday 15 October she's adding a tasting element to the viewing. The evening is called LULL x She Shucks, a collaboration between the exhibition and the oyster specialists She Shucks.
LULL is El-Tantawy's work, and it's a multi-sensory exploration of belonging and home. She's an acclaimed artist and photographer who moved to Brighton and started listening to the sounds of her new home: the sea, the wind and the gulls. The show brings that together across photography, moving images and sound, and it's part of Brighton Photo Fringe 2026, co-curated with Laura Summerton.
The evening on the 15th lets you see the exhibition with a few extras on the side. Your ticket gets you entry to the show, three fresh oysters from She Shucks, and a glass of wine or a non-alcoholic alternative. You also walk away with a signed limited-edition LULL print by El-Tantawy, and there are more oysters and wine available to buy on the night if you're feeling it.
