Lola's Cocktail Lounge

Lola's Cocktail Lounge is the late-night club night at Madam Lola's in Kemptown, and it's on this Thursday 8 October. It's the cabaret and dance floor side of the venue, with signature cocktails and a dance floor to keep you going well into the early hours.

If you haven't been yet, Madam Lola's Cabaret & Vaudeville is a new cabaret venue in the heart of Kemptown, billed as a queer-friendly destination. It programmes drag, burlesque, aerial and circus talent, and runs drag brunches during the day. Each weekend a rotating cast of performers takes over the room, with the show shifting energy around the space so that the lines between performer and guest become blurred. The venue leans on velvet booths and cocktails, and Lola's Cocktail Lounge is described as its most glamorous late-night room.

This particular night is the club side of the venue's offering, so it's more about the cocktails and the dance floor than a seated show. It's the kind of thing you head to after dinner or a few drinks elsewhere, when you're looking for a spot that stays open late. It runs from 10:00pm until 2:00am, so there's plenty of time to settle in. Entry is restricted to over-18s.
