Live music gig with singer-songwriter Lily Lyons and support, presented by Kilimanjaro, at The Folklore Rooms.
Lily Lyons plays The Folklore Rooms on Wednesday 22 July, a singer-songwriter gig presented by Kilimanjaro. It's a live show with support, so there'll be another act opening the night before she takes the stage.
If you're not yet familiar with her, Lyons works in the singer-songwriter tradition — voice and guitar at the centre of it. The Folklore Rooms is a small venue on North Street, and that's exactly the kind of room this music is built for: close enough to hear the lyrics and the space between the notes. It's the sort of evening that sits comfortably with folk and acoustic music, and it's aimed at a crowd that likes to actually listen rather than just have something on in the background.
The support act will open the bill, and Lyons will follow on. It's a mid-week date, so it's one of those nights you can slip into on a Wednesday evening without having to rearrange your whole week around it. The Folklore Rooms is at 12 North Street, BN1 3GJ, right in the heart of the city, so it's an easy one to get to whether you're coming from the lanes or from further out.

Tickets are £14.65, and the music starts at 19:30. With the support act and Lyons both on the bill, it's a full evening of live music rather than just a single set.
