An acoustic live show celebrating the catalogue of Eurythmics and Annie Lennox, featuring three-part harmonies and classic songs reworked by Paul Diello and his band.
If you are a fan of the Eurythmics or Annie Lennox’s solo work, there is a show coming to Brighton that takes a different approach to their well-known catalogue. On Friday, 8 May 2026, Ironworks Studios is hosting Like Lovers Do - An Acoustic Celebration of Annie Lennox & Eurythmics. This performance is led by artist Paul Diello and his band, who have reworked a selection of classic tracks into acoustic arrangements. The focus here is on three-part harmonies, aiming to highlight different textures and emotional layers in songs that many of us have heard countless times in their original synth-pop or new wave formats.

The setlist includes a variety of tracks such as "Here Comes the Rain Again," "Sweet Dreams," "Walking On Broken Glass," "Why," "Miracle Of Love," "Talk To Me Like Lovers Do," "I saved the world today," "Little Bird," "A Whiter Shade Of Pale," "Who's That Girl," "Stay By Me," "Missionary Man," "Sisters Are Doin' It," and "Would I Lie (to You)." By stripping these songs back, the band intends to present them in a way that feels distinct from the original studio recordings, relying on the live instrumentation to carry the performance.
Regarding the logistics, the event takes place at Ironworks Studios, located at 30 Cheapside, Brighton, BN1 4GD. Doors open at 19:00, and the show itself runs from 20:00 to 22:30, lasting approximately two and a half hours. It is an age-restricted event, open to those 14 and older, though anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. The venue offers seating arrangements with tables for two and four people positioned at the front of the stage.
