The band describes their sound as being built on "jumpy beats, off-kilter arrangements and minimalistic melodic hooks," all run through what they call an "insomniac filter" inspired by excessive exposure to city neon lights. They aim for music that is designed to be "blasted onto dancefloors." Lyrically, the group shares the ethos of the Riot Grrrl movement, focusing on themes of female autonomy, friendship, and benevolence. Since forming in the spring of 2022, the collective has built a significant touring history, appearing at festivals such as SXSW, End of the Road, The Great Escape, and Reeperbahn. They have also supported The Go! Team in 2024 and The Rapture in 2025. Their debut album, Stay Safe!, received a nomination for the Polaris Music Prize in 2024, establishing their presence in the scene before this latest release.
The gig takes place at Daltons, located on Madeira Drive, Lower Promenade, Brighton, BN2 1TB. The venue has a capacity of 200 people and features a main standing area, a lounge zone, and a terrace facing the sea. The event runs from 19:30 to 23:30 and is strictly for those aged 18 and over. While there is a support act scheduled to perform, the specific artist is yet to be announced. Entry to the show is free, and the evening will conclude at 23:30.
