Stand-up show in which Julian Clary says he is opening up to the public and revealing all, no longer hiding behind a stage persona.
Julian Clary brings his new stand-up show, Fully Dilated, to Brighton Dome on Friday 23 April 2027. It's presented by Mick Perrin Worldwide, and the set is billed as saucy comedy from the self-styled 'renowned homosexual'.
Clary describes Fully Dilated as the show in which he opens up to the public and reveals all, no longer hiding behind a stage persona. He says he'll share intimate secrets and the traumas that led him to become a camp comic, talking about things that would get him flogged in Dubai and pointed at in Peckham. It's a bit of a departure from the usual polished act, with the whole premise built around him stepping out from behind the character he's known for.
There are a few things to keep in mind before you book. The show is for ages 18 and over, and it comes with content warnings for references to drugs, death and themes of a sexual nature, so it's not one for a family outing. If that's your sort of thing, the performance is in The Concert Hall at the Dome on Church Street, BN1 1UE.
