Jayler

Jayler play The Green Door Store on Friday 26 February, the final stop of their first UK headline tour. They're a four-piece from the West Midlands, and the Brighton date brings a ten-show run in support of their debut album to a close. European headline dates follow after this.

That album is Voices Unheard, released in May via Silver Lining Music. It did some decent numbers on the charts: number two on the UK Independent Album Breakers, number three on the Official Rock & Metal Albums Chart, and number five on the Official Independent Albums Chart. The set will be built around it.

On stage, the line-up is singer and guitarist James Bartholomew, guitarist Tyler Arrowsmith, bassist and keyboardist Ricky Hodgkiss, and drummer Ed Evans. They describe themselves as a hard-hitting, energetic rock and roll band, and they list Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, and Greta Van Fleet as their main influences. It's a classic rock sound, played by four people who've spent the last year on some fairly big stages. They've opened for Lynyrd Skynyrd and Sammy Hagar, joined Deep Purple on the road this autumn, and played Monsters of Rock Brazil. This tour is their first time out as the main act.

The gig starts at 19:00 at The Green Door Store on Trafalgar Street, BN1 4FQ. Standard tickets are £16.50 guide price.
