Free pop-up of hundreds of independent magazines on music, art, photography, fashion and culture, part of Cover Story Brighton.
Indie Magazines Pop Up comes to Pink Moon on Friday 23 October, a small-scale exhibition that brings together hundreds of independent magazines in one room. It's part of Cover Story Brighton, which gathers titles celebrating music, art, photography, fashion and culture, alongside cult publications, iconic music titles and beautifully produced print from independent publishers and creatives. The whole thing is presented as a celebration of print, creativity and the power of physical magazines in a digital world.
If you're into the more niche end of publishing, this is where you'll find it. The range covers music, art, photography, fashion and culture, with a good mix of cult publications and iconic music titles. Alongside those, there's beautifully produced print from independent publishers and creatives, so it's as much about the making of the magazines as the subjects they cover. It's a chance to see hundreds of them in one place rather than hunting them down one by one.
