In

In is coming to The Walrus on Saturday 9 January, a new MOD afternooner comedy show in Brighton. It's a matinee, so it's one of those gigs that gets you in and out while it's still light, rather than a late one that keeps you up half the night.

In is the main feature, and the show is billed as a new MOD afternooner, which puts it in the category of the city's daytime comedy. It's a Brighton show, and the venue is The Walrus, located at 10 Ship Street in the basement room. If you've been around the city's comedy scene, you'll know that basement room is a proper little spot for this kind of thing, tucked away from the main street.

Because it's an afternooner, it's a good one if you're not usually out on a Saturday night or if you'd rather have your evening free. It starts at 15:00, so you're in and out well before the usual night-out crowd has even thought about heading out. It's a straightforward setup: In on the bill, a basement room in the centre of town, and a mid-afternoon start.

Tickets are £4.00, a guide price that keeps it on the affordable end of things. With the show starting at 15:00 on Saturday 9 January, it's an easy one to fit into a weekend without it taking over the whole day. In at The Walrus, 10 Ship Street, Brighton, BN1 1AE.
