The programme for the evening offers a mix of works. Alongside the main feature, Harmonium by John Adams, the orchestra will perform Avril Coleridge-Taylor’s Sussex Landscape—a piece supported by the ABO Trust’s Sirens programme—and Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 4. For those interested in the context behind the music, Joanna MacGregor is also hosting a session called 'The Listening Club' on Thursday, 14 January 2027, at the Brighton Unitarian Church. This is an hour-long illustrated talk designed to provide some background on the pieces being performed.
