A family Halloween trail with spooky scenes and clues for little witches and wizards at One Garden Brighton, with additional children's workshops and street food.
One Garden Brighton is bringing back its Half Term Halloween Trail from 24 October to 1 November, running daily from 9:30am to 5:00pm. It's a family trail through the gardens at Stanmer Park, with spooky scenes, mysterious clues and seasonal surprises for little witches and wizards to find. They encourage everyone to turn up in their best Halloween costume, so it's a good excuse to get the kids dressed up for the day.
Beyond the trail, the week fills with children's crafts, creative workshops and magical activities. On Monday 26 October, there's Bug Handling with sessions at 11:00, 12:00, 1:00, 2:00 and 3:00. Wednesday 28 October is the busiest day: a Potion Making Workshop runs from 10am to 12pm for over 7s only, with spaces limited, and Creepy Crafts for Kids runs in three slots: 10:00-10:30, 10:50-11:20 and 11:45-12:15. Spooky Storytelling follows on Thursday 29 and Friday 30 October, with sessions at 10:30-11:00 and 11:30-12:00, and that one needs booking in advance.
There's street food on site throughout, too. 39 Pizza on the Road is there from 24 to 29 October, and MasterChef champion Kenny Tutt runs a menu inspired by local produce and the gardens, cooked over hot coals, from 24 October to 1 November. Tallow joins in from 30 October to 1 November.
