A torchlit ghost tour and exploration of Preston Manor, Brighton's historic country house, with expert guides.
Ghostly Gatherings returns to Preston Manor this October, with five separate dates to choose from: Friday 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30. Each one runs from 8pm to 11pm, so you can pick the Friday that fits your schedule best.
Preston Manor is Brighton's only historic country house, a grand Edwardian estate on Preston Road that's widely called one of the most haunted houses in southern England. The evenings are set after dark, and they start with a glass of wine and some nibbles to settle you in before the real work begins. From there, an expert ghost guide takes you on a torchlit exploration of the house's many secrets, leading the way from the dark halls through to the servants' quarters. It's the kind of tour that works best when the sun's gone down and the house is closed to everyone else.
