Folk concert with George Boomsma, presented by Folklore Sessions, with support.
George Boomsma plays The Folklore Rooms on Thursday 8 April 2027, with support. The night is presented by Folklore Sessions, and it's an over-18s only show.
Boomsma has built a solid following across the UK and beyond, carried by full-band tour performances and festival appearances. He's been championed by Mark Radcliffe on BBC Radio 2 and Cerys Matthews on BBC Radio 6, and his 2026 main-stage festival bill included the Beardy Folk Festival and the Cambridge Folk Festival. After his set at Cambridge, a reviewer called him 'completely captivating, from infectious tunes to breathtaking a cappella' — that a cappella side is something to keep in mind, as it's a good indicator of the range he brings to a live set.

It's a folk concert, so you'll get the songs and the support act to open the night. The Folklore Rooms is at 12 North St, BN1 3GJ, right in the centre of town. Doors open at 7:30 PM, and the music follows from there. Tickets are £15 in advance.
