A monthly discovery series at The Folklore Rooms featuring three independent artists, including an exclusive acoustic performance by Sametime.
The Folklore Rooms host another Folklore Monthly Showcase on Tuesday 18 August, with Sametime, Ethan Hodges and a secret guest on the bill. The night is part of the venue's own monthly discovery series, which has been running since 2014 and puts three artists on one stage each month for audiences to discover. The room bills itself as Brighton's best small venue for independent artists and musicians.
Sametime takes the main feature, playing an exclusive acoustic set. That's the draw for the night, and the acoustic format means you'll hear the songs stripped back and close up. Ethan Hodges joins the bill alongside a secret guest, whose name is being kept under wraps until the night. With three acts on one bill, it's a full evening of live music rather than a single set.

It's a free entry show, and it works on a first come first served basis, so if you want a good spot, it's worth getting there a bit early. The Folklore Rooms is a strictly 18+ space, though matinee shows are open to all ages when accompanied by an adult. The showcase starts at 7:30 pm on Tuesday 18 August.
