Indie folk band Faith in Strangers perform live at The Folklore Rooms, presented by Psychedelia with support from Scarsdale Fats.
Faith in Strangers play The Folklore Rooms on Wednesday 16 September, with support from Scarsdale Fats. The night is presented by Psychedelia, and it's part of the Bristol band's debut tour, following a run of sold-out shows back home.
If you haven't come across them yet, Faith in Strangers are an indie folk-inspired band built around three-part harmonies, strings and expansive guitar-led arrangements. They describe their sound as emotionally charged, with songs that balance nostalgia, romance and youthful optimism, and a live show rooted in atmosphere and connection. The comparisons they've drawn are Ben Howard, Nick Mulvey and Mumford & Sons, so you've got a fair idea of the territory they're in: melodic, folk-leaning, and with a bit of room to breathe.
They're coming to Brighton on their first tour, so this is one of the first times you'll be able to catch them south of the Severn. Scarsdale Fats open the bill, and the whole night is put on by Psychedelia.

The gig starts at 8:30 pm at The Folklore Rooms, 12 North Street, BN1 3GJ. Tickets are £6.00, and it's a strictly 18+ venue, though matinee shows are all ages when accompanied by an adult.
