A concert celebrating trans joy and fundraising for The Clare Project, with live acts and a DJ set.
Evie's Post-Op Party! is at The Rossi Bar on Tuesday 20 October, from 19:00. It's a night celebrating Evie's return to the stage after gender-affirming surgery, with the whole thing built around trans joy and fundraising for The Clare Project, a charity that supports trans, non-binary and intersex people.
There's a full line-up of live acts to get through before the night shifts to the dancefloor. Trachique, The Glitterbombs, Creeping Embers and Floralis all have sets, and then Charlie_clueless and Pigeon take over with a b2b DJ set to keep things going. All profits from the door go to The Clare Project, and there'll be a donation box on the night too. They've also made it clear that no one is turned away for lack of funds, so you can come along even if you're short.
Before you head down, there are a couple of practical things to keep in mind. The Rossi Bar isn't wheelchair accessible — it's reached by a spiral staircase, so it's not one you can roll into. The promoters have also warned that the night may feature flashing lights, and they recommend bringing hearing protection if you're sensitive to loud music.
