Ellie Finnerty

Ellie Finnerty plays The Folklore Rooms on Wednesday 14 October, her debut headline show in Brighton. It's an acoustic pop-folk set, and as the headline suggests, she's the only one on the bill.

Finnerty comes from Devon, and this is a one-off, intimate performance in her new hometown. The occasion is a bit of a milestone: she's celebrating a decade of songwriting with this one. Ten years of writing is a fair stretch of time to look back on, and this is the first time she's stepped out as the main draw on a Brighton stage.

Because it's an acoustic show, it'll be just her and the songs, stripped back to the basics. The pop-folk label puts it in a familiar territory, but the acoustic setting keeps it close to the songwriting itself. It's a one-off date, not part of a tour, so it's a single night rather than one stop among many.

The show runs from 19:30 to 22:30 at The Folklore Rooms, and tickets are £10.
