Earth Tongue play The Rossi Bar on Thursday 22 October, their first Brighton date since they moved from New Zealand to Berlin. They're a heavy psych rock two-piece: Gussie Larkin on guitar and vocals, Ezra Simons on drums and vocals. That's it — just guitar, drums, and two voices. If you're not familiar with the name, they're a duo from Wellington, New Zealand, now based in Berlin.
The set will lean on their latest album, Dungeon Vision, which came out on 13 February 2026. They produced it themselves alongside Ty Segall, the American psych-rock veteran known for his own fuzz-heavy records. It's their first full-length since Great Haunting in June 2024, and it's the newest addition to a discography that stretches back a fair way.
Before Dungeon Vision and Great Haunting, they put out Floating Being in June 2019, Pentagram on the Moon in November 2017, and the Portable Shrine EP in September 2016. The Portable Shrine tracks are the oldest they've got on record, so there's a decade of material to pull from if they decide to reach back. Between the new album and the older records, they've built up a decent body of work to draw on for a single night.
