Intimate album launch show with Australian band DMA's, featuring a stripped-back acoustic set ahead of their full tour.
DMA's play CHALK on Friday 29 January, a stripped-back acoustic set that doubles as an album launch. The Australian trio are introducing their new self-titled record, their fifth to date, and this is a rare, intimate performance ahead of their full tour.
Because it's an acoustic show, the songs will be played without the usual full-band arrangement, so you'll hear the new material in a more exposed, stripped-down way than it'll sound on the tour that follows. It's presented by Resident Music, and the set runs from 19:00 to 22:00.
There's a bit more to the ticketing than just the gig. Entry-only tickets don't include the album, but you can get album bundles that ship to the UK address linked to your DICE account. The page notes that buying the album with your entry supports the artist, and the record is chasing a top 10 spot in the UK charts, so it's one of those nights where your ticket actually counts toward the numbers. If you're already planning to pick up the new one, the bundle is the easier way to do it.

On the practical side, it's a 14+ event, so anyone under 16 needs to be accompanied by an adult. Standard tickets are £18.00, and the show runs from 19:00 to 22:00 at CHALK, 13 Pool Valley, Brighton BN1 1NJ.
