Delivery play Daltons on Friday 6 November, with the night presented by Acid Box. They're a Melbourne band, and this is their Brighton date.
They've built a name on what they call mutant garage-punk, a caustic take on the style that critics have compared to the sun-bleached, desert vistas of Mad Max. It's a good way of describing the sound: garage rock stripped back and pushed into something a bit more jagged and scorched than the original. If you've got a thing for that sort of thing, this is exactly where it sits.
Their 2025 album, Force Majeure, came out through Heavenly Recordings and was described as an unstoppable force of rock'n'roll. It's the record they're touring, and it's the one that's been doing the heavy lifting for them lately. The set will draw from it, and since it's their main focus, you'll hear the newer material front and centre.
