The Deep Transmission Team returns to Brighton to launch their new record label on Good Friday with a night of Techno and Progressive House.
The Deep Transmission team is returning to the Waterbear on 3rd April, coinciding with Good Friday, for a night that marks a bit of a turning point for them. This event, titled Deep Transmission VI, serves as the official launch for their new record label. It’s a move from just putting on nights to actually curating and releasing their own music, so the evening is built around showcasing that new direction. Being held at the Kings Road Arches, it’s a familiar setting for anyone who spends time around the Brighton seafront.

The musical focus for the night is quite specific, leaning into Techno, Deep House, Tribal House, and Progressive House. Rather than just a standard DJ set, the group is using this time to premiere their own new tracks and label productions. It’s an opportunity to hear how their studio work translates to a club environment. The programming is designed to highlight these new releases, giving a first look at the material that will define the label’s sound moving forward.
In terms of the practical side of things, the doors open at 21:00 and the music continues until 03:00 on Saturday morning. It is worth noting that the last entry is set for 02:15, so you’ll need to be through the doors by then. The event is restricted to those aged 18 and over. If you’re looking at tickets, the early bird price is £3.50, or there is a bundle deal for groups of four at £12. They will be selling tickets on the door as well, though these will cost more than the advance options.
The Waterbear Venue is located at 169-170 The Kings Road Arches, BN1 1NB. It’s a central spot that most locals will know well, tucked into the arches right by the beach. With the bank holiday timing and the label launch focus, it’s a straightforward night for those interested in the local electronic music scene and seeing what this specific Brighton-based team has been producing lately.
