An immersive all-ages circus show blending aerial acrobatics, physical theatre and comedy in a Regency-themed ballroom setting, part of Brighton Fringe.
If you are looking for something a bit different to do in Brighton this month, the Spiegeltent is hosting a show called Darling as part of the Brighton Fringe 2026. It is an immersive circus performance put together by Pivot Point Circus, a group of eight international artists who graduated from the National Centre for Circus Arts in London just last year. The show is set in a Regency-themed ballroom, which fits the venue's atmosphere quite well, and it blends aerial acrobatics, physical theatre, and comedy to explore themes like romance, ambition, and rivalry.

The performance runs for 60 minutes and is designed to be all-ages, meaning it is open to everyone from 0+ and they do allow babies in arms. The cast includes Ellie Beale, Xélia Froidevaux, Amelia Laughlin, Ruby Buchanan, Chrys Shipley, Willow Hippley, and Tomas Elian Briones Rojas. Since it is an immersive show, there is some interaction with the audience, so it is worth keeping that in mind if you prefer a more traditional theatre experience where you just sit and watch from a distance.
Regarding the logistics, the shows are scheduled for the 19th and 20th of May 2026, starting at 19:00. You will find the Spiegeltent located within the SpiegelGardens at Victoria Gardens. Tickets are priced at £14.00 for standard entry, with a reduced rate of £10.00 available. If you are planning to go, the venue is accessible for wheelchair users and has accessible toilets on-site. They also allow assistance dogs. If you have specific accessibility requirements, such as needing a tactile tour, it is a good idea to get in touch with the company directly to see what arrangements they can make.
