A self-guided heritage walk treasure hunt adventure to discover Brighton's hidden stories and quirky charm, suitable for all ages.
Curious About Brighton is running its quirky heritage walks through Brighton City Centre from 25 July to 24 October 2026. Billed as 'Brighton's Secrets Revealed', these are self-guided heritage walks that let you unlock the city's hidden stories and quirky charm at your own pace.
It's a treasure-hunt adventure for all ages, and since you're in charge of the route, you can take it as slowly as you like. You'll pass by the city's iconic landmarks and its more tucked-away gems, with intriguing clues to decipher along the way about the history of Brighton and the people who've lived here. It's pitched as a fresh-air excuse to get outside, rain or shine, so it works as a lazy Sunday morning or a proper day out with the family.
One of the best bits is that you don't have to do it alone. When you sign up, you can choose between a printed booklet or an instant download, and a single copy covers up to four explorers, so you can gather a few friends or the whole household and work through the clues together. It's a self-guided thing, so there's no set start time or group to keep up with—you just set off whenever you're ready.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Brighton and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

It runs from 25 July through to 24 October, giving you plenty of time to fit it in over the summer or into the autumn. Prices are £5.99 for concessions and £7.49 for standard, and one copy covers up to four people, so it's a cheap way to spend a few hours seeing the city from a slightly different angle.
