Crystal Wand-Making Workshop

Alchymis is hosting a Crystal Wand-Making Workshop on Friday 23 October, from 18:00 to 19:30. It's a hands-on session where you make your own wire-wrapped crystal wand from scratch, and you take it home with you when you're done.

The workshop is run by Alchymis themselves, and they've built it around the idea of a ritual of making. You don't just follow a set of instructions; you choose the materials that go into your wand. There are seven magical woods to pick from, seven mystical crystals, and seven sacred candles, so you're combining one of each to build something that's yours. The wand is wire-wrapped, and because you're the one choosing the wood and the crystal, it's a tool you can customise and then hang wherever you feel you need a bit of power.

It's a focused evening, running for an hour and a half, so you've got plenty of time to get the wrapping right without feeling rushed. If you've never worked with wire or crystals before, that's fine — the whole point is that you're making it there on the night.

The workshop is at Alchymis, 3 Bank Chambers, Preston Circus, Brighton, BN4 1JQ. A standard ticket is £24.00, and it runs from 18:00 to 19:30 on Friday 23 October.
