Space-themed arts and crafts workshop for children aged 3-10 and their grown-ups, led by artist Laura Halliwell. Currently Fully Booked.
If you were planning your Sunday activities, you might have spotted that the Brighton Dome is hosting one of their popular family workshops tomorrow, February 8th, 2026. It’s the Crafty Kids: Zoom to the Moon session, focusing on space-themed arts and crafts. This event is part of their Spring family season, designed specifically for children and their grown-ups to enjoy a relaxed creative session together. The immediate heads-up, though, is that both sessions are currently listed as Fully Booked. Given how quickly these workshops sell out, it’s definitely one to bookmark for future dates if you missed out this time.

The format is designed for collaboration; it’s aimed at children aged 3 to 10, who are required to team up with their parent or carer during the workshop. The idea is simple: all materials are provided, and the organizers even handle the cleanup, so you just show up ready to create. The session is led by artist Laura Halliwell and takes place in Anita's Room at the Dome, located on Church Street (BN1 1UE). Each workshop runs for 50 minutes, with doors opening half an hour before the start time.
For those who managed to secure a spot, there are two opportunities to join the cosmic fun: the morning session at 11:30 am and the afternoon session starting at 2:00 pm. Regarding tickets, this is a paid event starting from £6. That initial price covers one adult and one child working together. If you’re bringing an extra child, the cost is an additional £6, keeping in mind there’s a maximum limit of two children per adult. It’s important to remember that every person attending, regardless of age, needs a ticket to enter, and standard bookings incur a small fee for telephone and online reservations.
