Concert by singer-songwriter and poet Cordell Winter, whose journey through struggle and survival inspires his work.
Cordell Winter plays Brunswick on Saturday 17 October, as part of his Cordell Winter Tour Herbst 2026 European tour. He's a Nashville musician and songwriter who blends raw rock'n'roll with poetic storytelling, and his sound moves between alternative rock, folk and psychedelic Americana.
The Brighton date comes just after he released his new album, Leave This World Alive, on 8 October. It's a collection of songs that draw on heartbreak, devotion, faith and the will to move on after difficult experiences, and the track 'Don't Make A Sound' is one of the songs you'll hear from it. The record is the main focus of this tour, and the set will lean on the new material.
Winter describes his live shows as being driven by direct energy, emotional presence and a closeness to the audience that matches his personal songwriting. That's a good way to frame what he does: the songs come from a place of struggle and survival, and the live performance is where that personal side comes through. The Brighton show is one stop on a European run, so it's one of the few chances to catch him over here this autumn.
