Philipp Blom is coming to Fabrica on Sunday 25 October for a coffee morning discussion, part of the Brighton Early Music Festival. He's a philosopher and author, and the morning is built around one of those big, enduring questions: the search for a place to belong.
The conversation grew out of the concert In Terra Aliena and the themes of the texts Blom wrote specially for it. From there, it wanders through home, identity, utopia and hope, and it's an informal setting where audience discussion is welcome throughout. Rather than a formal lecture, it's set up as a conversation you can join in on, so you're as much a part of it as you are listening.

It's a Sunday morning slot, so it's an easy one to fit in. The session runs from 10:30 to 11:45 at Fabrica, 40 Duke Street, BN1 1AG. Tickets are £8, which includes coffee and cake, and under-12s go free.
