Techno night celebrating the 18th anniversary of City Wall Records with Mark Broom on the decks, supported by Acid Carbon, Gosia and Ross Harper.
Mark Broom takes over Quarters on Friday 11 December, with the night marking the 18th anniversary of City Wall Records. It's a celebration of UK techno, and Broom is the one heading it up on the decks.
He's a DJ, producer and remixer who's been at this for a long time. He puts it himself: he's been delivering the highest calibre sounds since the summer of 1989, when he got his first turntables. Since then, he's put out records on labels like Blueprint, Rekids and M-Plant, and done remixes for Robert Hood, Floorplan and Gary Beck. That's a good bit of ground to cover across a few decades of techno.
He won't be the only one on the bill. Support comes from City Wall regulars Acid Carbon and Gosia, plus the label's founder, Ross Harper. With the label turning 18, it makes sense to have the people who've been part of the City Wall sound over the years on the same night.
