A live, multi-sensory musical experience bringing the magic of Hans Zimmer's greatest film-score hits under the gentle glow of candlelight.
Candlelight: Hans Zimmer's Best Works comes to the Royal Pavilion on Friday 31 July, one of several dates the series is running across the city. It's a live, multi-sensory musical experience staged in an awe-inspiring location, often used for the first time for this purpose, under the gentle glow of candlelight. This particular show focuses on some of the greatest film-score hits of Hans Zimmer.
Zimmer is often described as the 'Maestro of the movies', and he's been working steadily since the 1980s on over 100 film and television soundtracks. He's won an Academy Award, two Golden Globes, and four Grammy Awards, and has collaborated frequently with Christopher Nolan. He also contributed to the BBC's Planet Earth II, so the music here draws from a career that spans decades of cinema and television.
