Concert by the Canadian metalcore and hardcore punk band Cancer Bats at the Chalk venue, with support from Ignite and Knives.
Cancer Bats are playing Chalk on Tuesday 13 October, as part of their autumn 2026 UK tour. The Canadian outfit comes from Toronto and works across metal, hardcore and punk, and the Brighton date is one stop on a run that takes them across the UK throughout the season.
They've put out seven studio albums to date and picked up five Juno Award nominations along the way. Their most recent record is Psychic Jailbreak, released in 2022, and they've played some of the larger stages on the circuit. The set will draw from that and the earlier records, so there's a fair bit to work with.
They aren't the only ones on the bill that night: Ignite and Knives are both supporting, so you'll get three bands in one evening. It's a 14+ show, which keeps it open to a younger crowd as well as the regulars.
