Caleb Caudle

Caleb Caudle plays The Folklore Rooms on Wednesday 13 January, bringing his new album Heavy Thrill to Brighton. It's a solo bill, with Caudle as the only name on the poster.

Heavy Thrill marks a bit of a shift for him. It's the first record he's produced himself, and he recorded it at the Cash Cabin in Hendersonville, Tennessee, taking full creative control of the project. He's also shared some personal news alongside the music: he and his wife are expecting their first child.

Caudle's work is built from the ground up, shaped by endurance and a life in motion that's taken him from the small stages of the North Carolina foothills he calls home all the way to the Grand Ole Opry. He's entering a new chapter with this one, and the set will be built around the new material.

The gig is at The Folklore Rooms, 12 North Street, BN1 3GJ, on Wednesday 13 January, starting at 19:30. Tickets are £22.50, a guide price that's subject to change.
