Guided backstage tour of the historic Brighton Dome venue, offering a unique insight into its history and facilities.
Brighton Dome is opening its doors for a guided backstage tour on Saturday 19 September, and it's one of several dates they've got lined up across the autumn. If you've spent any time in the city, you've probably walked past the Dome a hundred times, but this is your chance to get inside the parts the public never sees.
It's a guided tour, so you'll be led through the wings and the corridors that sit behind the main stage, the kind of spaces that usually stay closed off when the house is full. You'll get a look at how the venue actually works from the inside, the practical side of putting on a show that stays hidden from the audience. If you've ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes when a performance is underway, this is exactly where you'll find it.
Saturday 19 September is just the start, though. There are four more dates to choose from if that one doesn't fit your schedule: Sunday 4 October, Friday 9 October, Sunday 25 October, and Friday 27 November. Most of them start at 11:00, with the 25 October tour running slightly earlier at 10:00, so there's a morning slot on a few different weekends to pick from.

Tickets are £14.50, and the tours run from the Brighton Dome on Church Street, BN1 1UE. With five dates spread from September through to late November, you can pick the one that suits you best.
