Concert by the Australian indie-rock five-piece Boy & Bear, supported by Dustin Tebbutt, at Chalk, Brighton.
We’ve got a great piece of news for anyone who appreciates quality indie-rock and folk influences. The Australian quintet Boy & Bear, hailing from Sydney, are making a stop in Brighton early next year. They are known for their intricate harmonies and thoughtful songwriting, blending that classic indie-rock sound with elements of folk storytelling. They are scheduled to play at Chalk on Thursday, March 5, 2026. It’s always exciting when a band with their touring pedigree chooses one of our local venues, setting the stage for what should be a memorable mid-week gig.

If you’re planning your evening, the schedule is pretty straightforward. Doors are slated to open at 6:30 PM (18:30), giving everyone plenty of time to settle in. Adding to the lineup is fellow Australian artist Dustin Tebbutt, who will be opening the show. Chalk itself is easy to find, located right in the Pool Valley area (you might see the address listed as 10 or 13 Pool Valley, BN1 1NJ). Just a quick note on logistics: the event has a 14+ age restriction, and anyone under the age of 16 needs to be accompanied by an adult, which is standard for most shows at this venue.
Regarding tickets, this is a general standing event, and the pricing seems consistent across all major vendors. You can expect the entry cost to hover right around the £28.13 to £28.15 mark, which is a fair price point for catching an established international touring act. Given the band’s reputation for delivering a strong live performance, this concert offers a solid opportunity to experience some high-quality indie music as we head into spring.
