Boris - Do You Remember The Pink Days?

Boris play Concorde 2 on Friday 16 October, as part of their UK tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of Pink. The whole album is played in full, so it's a proper chance to hear it from start to finish rather than a few scattered tracks. The tour is titled Do You Remember The Pink Days?, and the Brighton date has Planning For Burial on support.

If you're not familiar with them, Boris formed in 1992 and settled into their current lineup of Takeshi, Wata and Atsuo in 1996. Since then they've worked their way through their own version of heavy music, the kind that doesn't fit into any one genre. Their influence has been called a 'game changer' at the leading edge of the world's rock scene, and 'explosive sound' and 'thunderous roars' have become their trademark. Pink is one of their cult records, and this tour marks two decades since it came out.

The gig is at Concorde 2, in the Madeira Shelter Hall at 286a Madeira Drive, Brighton BN21 1EN. It starts at 19:00, with Planning For Burial opening the night. General admission standing is £34.19 including fees. Admission is for ages 14 and over, and under-16s need to be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over who can show ID at the door.
