Comedy sketch show celebrating a decade since its debut, with around 69 sketches packed into an hour.
Biscuit Barrel are back at The Actors Pub on Saturday 5 December, with a show that marks ten years since they first performed in December 2016. It's a birthday special, and they're celebrating it with a bit of a stunt: around 69 sketches packed into a single hour. They describe it as a production for low attention spans, and the variety of what goes into that hour is a good part of the draw. You'll get slapstick, songs, absurd characters, wordplay, rap battles, beatboxing, and even a murder mystery, with one of the biscuits killed and any of the remaining ones a suspect. It's a fast-paced, high-turnover kind of night.
There's a fair bit of history behind the name, too. Biscuit Barrel started as a student production in 2017, funded on founder James Horscroft's retail wages, and has since grown into a Fringe fixture, selling over 6,000 tickets since 2023. It's played the Edinburgh, Brighton and Hollywood Fringes, as well as the Winchester Comedy Festival, Leicester Comedy Festival and London Comedy Film Festival, so this is a group that's spent a good portion of its life on the road. This particular show brings them back to Brighton to mark the decade.

Tickets are £8.50 standard and £9.00 concession, guide prices subject to change.
