Big Red, the solo project of Joseph Scarisbrick, performs live at The Rossi Bar as part of the GDS x Rossi Bar Artist Investment Scheme.
Big Red play The Rossi Bar on Wednesday 19 November, from 19:00 to 23:00. The night is part of the Artist Investment Scheme (AIS), a GDS x Rossi Bar initiative presented by The Green Door Store, and it's for over-18s only.
Big Red is the solo writing vehicle of Joseph Scarisbrick, who set it up as a home for songs that sat outside his other project, The Orchestra (For Now). It's since grown into a three-piece, with drummer Charlie Hancock and bassist and vocalist Millie Kirby on board. Scarisbrick's earlier work leaned on dense references and literary allusion; this project takes a more direct, confessional and brutally honest approach, with the music stripped back and played by a band in real time.

He's played at London's Third Man Records (Blue Basement) and at End Of The Road Festival. The set is presented by The Green Door Store as part of the AIS, a collaboration between GDS and The Rossi Bar. Tickets are £8.16, and the night runs from 19:00 to 23:00 at The Rossi Bar, 8 Queens Road, BN1 3WA.
