Launch party for the return of BeFries at the Brighton i360 terrace featuring music and signature sauces.
If you have spent any time in Brighton over the last few years, you might remember BeFries. They built a bit of a reputation for themselves, even hitting the top spot on TripAdvisor for places to eat in the city at one point. After a period away, the brand is making a return today, April 10, 2026, with a launch party hosted at the Brighton i360 terrace.

This relaunch is happening under the management of Sarah Willingham, who is currently overseeing a shift in the i360 site to introduce new food options and experiences. The setup for this event is straightforward: BeFries will be operating from a mobile unit stationed directly on the terrace. It is a casual affair, with the event starting at 18:00. There will be music playing throughout the evening, and the menu will focus on their signature sauces, which were a key part of their original appeal.
For those planning to head down, there is a specific incentive tied to the bar at the i360. The first 100 people who purchase a drink at the bar during the event will receive a free cone of fries. It is a simple way to mark the opening, and given the location, you will be eating with the sea right in front of you. Dashal Beevers, the co-founder, mentioned that the goal is to keep things consistent with what they did before: focusing on the quality of the potatoes, the sauces, and the atmosphere. It seems like a fairly low-key way to bring a familiar local food option back into the mix, and it is open to anyone who wants to stop by for a drink and a bite.
