Brighton Wine Festival

The Brighton Wine Festival takes over The Corn Exchange at the Brighton Dome on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 December, bringing together hundreds of wines from renowned regions and hidden gems to sample in one place. It's set up as a global wine journey you can take without leaving the city, and it's pitched at everyone from complete beginners to seasoned enthusiasts. The exhibitors are on hand to guide you through what's on the table, so it works whether you're looking to discover a new favourite, expand your wine knowledge or just plan a day out with friends.

Each ticket gets you unlimited wine tasting, a bottle of water and a festival glass to use throughout. If you find something you really like, you can buy wine by the glass, the bottle or the case, and many of the exhibitors offer festival discounts on the day. The venue is a short walk from Brighton railway station, the seafront and the city's restaurants, bars and attractions, so it's easy to build a full day or weekend around it.

It runs across two days, Friday 4 and Saturday 5 December, with doors opening at 11:45am. Tasting sessions run from 12:00-2:30pm, 3:00-5:30pm and 6:00-8:30pm, and the whole thing closes at 9:00pm. A standard ticket is £25.00, though that's a guide price and subject to change. With three separate sessions each day, you can pick the one that fits your schedule best and spend as long as you like working your way through the stalls.
