Alt-prog band Arcane Roots perform live at Chalk in Brighton, with support from Every Hell.
It has been a while since Arcane Roots were active, but they are returning to the stage this summer. The band, which parted ways back in 2018, has announced a reunion with a notably expanded lineup. For those familiar with their previous work, the group now features founding members Andrew Groves on vocals and guitar, Adam Burton on bass, and Jack Wrench on drums. They have also brought in Daryl Atkins and the Icelandic composer Bjarni Biering to round out the new configuration.

They are scheduled to perform at Chalk in Brighton on Tuesday, 7 July 2026. The doors are set to open at 19:00, and the venue is located at 13 Pool Valley, Brighton, BN1 1NJ. If you are planning to head down, it is worth noting that the event has an age restriction of 14+, so anyone under that age will not be admitted. The band Every Hell is also on the bill as the supporting act for the evening.
Tickets for the show are currently available starting from £17.50. Given the venue's size and the nature of the band's return, it is a straightforward setup for anyone interested in catching their live performance in the city. Whether you have followed their progression over the years or are just curious about how this new lineup sounds in a live setting, the details are set for that Tuesday evening in July.
