Berlin-based indie pop singer-songwriter Anna Erhard performs live with support from Dana Gavanski at the Chalk venue.
Anna Erhard plays Chalk on Thursday 11 March, from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The Berlin-based Swiss musician is one of the more distinctive voices in European indie pop, and she'll be performing with guests on the night.
Her sound sits somewhere between the laid-back spirit of Kurt Vile and the inventive charm of early Beck, pairing distorted guitars and lo-fi keyboards with witty storytelling delivered with her trademark nonchalance. She has a knack for turning everyday observations and fleeting encounters into playful, captivating stories. Her third album, Botanical Garden (2024), was widely acclaimed across Europe and took her on sold-out UK and European tours, including an appearance at Glastonbury and live sessions at London's Maida Vale Studios. She follows it with 1000 Sheep, due February 2027, so this date falls just after the new record comes out.
