The performance begins at 19:30, but there is an opportunity to arrive earlier at 18:45. At that time, there will be a free pre-concert performance in the Brighton Dome foyer showcasing young talent from West Sussex Music. It is a straightforward way to see some local musicians before the main programme starts in the concert hall.
Regarding the logistics, tickets are available at several price points: ÂŁ18.50, ÂŁ26, ÂŁ31, ÂŁ36, and ÂŁ44 for premium seating. There are also discounts available if you are planning to attend multiple concerts in the series, with 10% off for two, 15% for three, and 20% for four. For those under 18, tickets are priced at ÂŁ10. Please note that the venue has a policy where anyone under 14 years old must be accompanied by an adult to enter the concert hall.
It is worth noting that Alpesh Chauhan has been described in previous reviews as a conductor who approaches music with a focus on narrative and visual storytelling. Whether you are a regular attendee of the LPO’s visits to Brighton or simply interested in this specific programme, the evening offers a mix of established orchestral works and a debut performance from Sophia Liu.
