The standard price for the afternoon tea is £18.50 per person, though there is a recurring promotion of two people for £34. If you want to add a bit more to the meal, there are options to upgrade with special drinks for an extra £0.50 or a 200ml bottle of Prosecco for £6.35, provided you are over 18. The menu covers a range of items, including egg and mustard, smoked Scottish salmon, chicken and bacon, and honey roast ham sandwiches, followed by two scones with cream and jam, and desserts like raspberry cheesecake. They also provide a vegetarian version and an NGCI option, though it is worth noting that they do not offer a gluten-free version. For those interested in the Prosecco, keep in mind it is not a certified vegan product and they operate a Challenge 25 policy.
For families, there is the Little Seedlings Afternoon Tea specifically for children under 12. This menu is priced at £10.75 and includes flower-shaped sandwiches, biscuits, cupcakes, and a choice of orange or blackcurrant juice. Children do need to be accompanied by an adult. The restaurant at the Brighton site is open from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Saturday, and from 10:30 am to 4:00 pm on Sundays. Most of the afternoon tea sessions are scheduled for 12:00 pm, with the exception of April 5th, 2026, when the session is held at 3:30 pm. Since it is a popular choice, booking in advance is the standard way to secure a table.
