Cult Japanese psychedelic group performing motor-psycho guitar action, ethnic drones and throat singing at The Hare & Hounds.
Acid Mothers Temple are returning to Brighton on Sunday, 26 April 2026, for a performance at The Hare & Hounds. Founded in 1995 by Makoto Kawabata, the group has developed a distinct approach to music that incorporates motor-psycho guitar action, ethnic drones, and throat singing. Over the years, they have released more than 80 albums and worked with various artists, including Gong and Guru Guru. This upcoming show, titled 'Dark Within Of Astropia', offers a look at their current creative direction and their ability to blend rhythmic structures with more improvised, experimental segments.
