Ace Café Reunion

The annual Ace Café Reunion is set to return to Brighton this September. This gathering is a significant fixture in the motorcycle world, celebrating the history, culture, and style rooted in the Ace Cafe London. The main action always lands on our doorstep at the iconic Madeira Drive.

The highlight for most spectators is the Sunday finale, known as the 'Brighton Burn Up'. This is the traditional mass ride that starts at the Ace Café in London—historically kicking off around 10:00 or 10:30 a.m.—and makes its way down to the seafront. If you’ve ever been, you know the sight: Madeira Drive fills up with an estimated 10,000 motorcycles, creating a massive, temporary exhibition space. For those interested in the full experience, the preceding Friday and Saturday usually feature initial events like the 'Bike Night' and a 'café racer ride out' back in London.

Once the riders arrive in Brighton, Madeira Drive transforms into a hub of activity. You can expect stands, various exhibitions, and a lively atmosphere fueled by DJs and live rock n’ roll performances on the Ace stage right by the sea. It’s also where they hand out awards for the best 'café racer' and the best 'scooter'. The event primarily targets motorcycle enthusiasts, especially those into the café racer and Mod/Rocker scene, but it draws a huge general crowd too. Since the main gathering in Brighton is essentially a rally and meeting on a public road, access for spectators along Madeira Drive is generally free, making it an easy way to spend a Sunday afternoon watching the spectacle.
